The Nomao Hostel is a tribute to the diverse cultures of the indigenous peoples in Canada. Run by members of indigenous communities, the Nomao will not only be a place to stay, but also a cultural center that puts the indigenous people and heritage at the forefront. For too long, these cultures have been exploited, overlooked, and even erased, the Nomao Hostel aims to help bridge the gaps between western and indigenous ways of knowing in a positive way, while offering a community gathering place for indigenous and non-indigenous people alike.
