Perspective Construction

Project 3A is a two-point perspective drawing constructed on a horizontal 24'' x 18'' vellum at the scale 1:100. With emphasis on precision of line quality, the drawing was constructed by drafting a gridded plan of the space and then projecting the plan into a two-point perspective with the use of a station point, horizontal ground line, horizon line, true height line, and right and left vanishing points. The drawing features two chiaroscuro exercises which help viewers understand the relationship between volumes, light and shadow and how light and shadow can potentially appear in the two-point perspective drawing.
