The “Skyline Light” is a new iteration of Neri&Hu’s “Yanzi Light”. Though it maintains the materiality, flexibility and conceptual tie of urban and nature from the original, this new fixture shifts the design from its cultural context of Shanghai, China to Toronto, Canada. The fixture captures the industrial-organic connection seen in the buildings above the water of the Toronto skyline. The bulbs can be reconfigured into the different waves of the structure, allowing flexibility in the distribution of light.
