A Path Through Layers

This project aims to demonstrate how the Gestalt principle of continuity can be applied in a simple additive model. Created from over 100 layers of cardstock, each layer contains a slightly offset pattern that leads your eye as you look through the piece. By strategically leaving larger gaps in between critical visual elements a great sense of depth can be perceived as you follow the path like voids down and through the model.
