Building 596 at the intersection of Ossington Ave and Harbour Street, will be a commercial and residential building, home to Unity Charity. An organization that introduces hip-hop artforms to youths, promoting resilience and well-being. Inspired by the graphic characters of Unity Charity, the form of the building is derived from the motif of a person doing a one-hand freeze. And casted throughout the building are a series of 5 motifs in a variety of colors. Narrating the programs offered by Unity Charity: break-dancing, spoken word, poetry, graffiti art, and beatboxing. Encapsulating the energy, youthfulness and sense of community Unity offers.
