The concept of simulacra proposed by Baudrillard expresses, “that humans accept the reality of the world with what is presented. The intention of this project was to mimic man-made materials using debris and creating sustainable structures that would only be inhabited in a utopian world. By challenging conventional methods and exploring the materiality of food waste and plant composts, a drastic simulation was created. These series of photographs force the viewer’s mind to try and comprehend what exactly they are being shown and attempt to correlate what they see to ‘real life'.
