Split House

The Split house captures the ideas of light circulation, sightlines and flexibility. Through the consideration of light, how small spaces can be oriented effectively and curating sightlines for a comfortable space to reside in, the culmination of these ideas results in a harmony of divisions and organization of space. A major feature of this space is the two-story spanning window that receives the majority of daily light, which creates one of many moments within this space to enjoy. The organization of this space takes advantage of spatial dynamics of leading into a larger space as well as dividing the private and personal areas.
