Seedling: Designed as temporary housing for families seeking proximity to their sick children, the place to stay at Bloor and Brunswick is one which supports both adults and children alike. In alluding to nature through its use of organic forms and a warm colour palette, the design is one which evokes a continual sense of growth and curiosity to its inhabitants. As one venters the building’s floors, it is as if they are traversing through trees and into the sky, mirroring the airiness established by the existing tree adjacent to the site.
