The Model House 2: Through the course I’ve been living in Bali which provided an intriguing contrast to the when comparing the home seen here to the ones reviewed in lecture.
Through knowledge acquired in class I asked myself if I could identify, and illustrate the model home in Bali.
To explore the possibilities I investigated multiple towns and neighbor hoods, visiting Airbnb’s, visiting houses for rent, etc. and ended up identifying two model homes. One being the villa, and the second being the traditional home. Through the length of the video I explore the architecture of each, similarities and differences in design concepts, and how the architecture influences the users experience or action within the space. I draw a conclusion that bind the two together and to the land.
