The concept behind this design is inspired by the rhythmic, organic, and free-flowing-ness of nature while highlighting interior & exterior relationships with colour among the clay casted forms of my hands. Bronze and primary blue colours were selected as a representation of the earth's elements: blue for water and bronze for the earth’s minerals. The gradient technique with the bronze paint accentuates the natural texture of the form’s materiality while creating a sense of movement. The staggered-diagonal arrangement of the forms expresses nature's unpredictability.
