This hybrid model is inspired from the assigned painting titled ‘Induction Chromatique à Double Fréquence A pour Wörn’ by Carlos Cruz-Diez. The focus of this model is to show the design principle/element of rhythm and colour from the painting. The long bamboo skewers are alternating left and right, while weaving throughout the central piece creating a large spiral. The colour element is represented by the tracing paper. A rhythmic pattern is seen by the way the papers are folded on the edges. In order for the pieces to connect, strings were used to tie the skewers together; this shows a natural component of the joinery.
