Annex Hotel Restaurant Lighting: To promote a feeling of intimacy in the Annex Hotel restaurant, a domed ceiling was designed as the feature of the space. Recessed linear cove lighting installed along the center of the ceiling, behind the banquette seating and at the bar accentuates the curved path of the ceiling and highlights important areas of the space. The intention is to create contrast between areas that have a ‘linear glow’ and the rest of the space which will appear darker. Pendant lights over the bar and custom lamps placed on surfaces throughout allow for additional controllable light and add romance.
