Exploring Intersectionality Through Line and Shape

Intersectionality describes the hybridization of two or more components, not only of design, but also of lived experience. Line and shape are two prominent elements in the artwork, but are seen as separate items. Instead of thinking about them as such, through my model I was able to explore the combination of elements in order to produce a new composition that allows for co existence. Through layering, incorporating line into the shapes, and creating dimensionality, I hybridized my model. By looking at the two elements in combination, I was able to achieve a composition that allows for them to exist in one homogeneous model.
