My final model brings together structure and cast in a dynamic composition that reflects the asymmetrical quality of my collage and the hand movement apparent in the clay forms. Small boxes are shifted on top of each other holding each piece to create a sense of movement and floating. A longer, asymmetrical anchor piece supports the whole structure. Each clay form is elevated to a different height to represent the different layers in my collage. Color is applied to achieve a sense of enclosure and create a strong frame around the white clay forms. The dark green is applied to ground the structure and to make it appear as if it is receding to the background. The lighter green is applied to give a sense of floating and lightness to the overall structure.
