Morass is a hybrid of moss and grass. It is a means to bring the outdoors inside through constructed fake nature. At times, imitation can be more impactful than we think. Nature has the power and tendency to improve one’s health and Fake Nature can still have similar impacts on one’s wellbeing. It can be used to create a biophilic or an imitation of biophilia in an interior environment with its various applications. Morass is not meant to deceive or mislead the spectators, but to put them in astonishment and force them to rethink the distinction between reality and its depiction.
