Our Natures

When considering what "nature" is and where it exists, different perspectives are brought to the table. The way in which I might view and interpret the idea of nature will be different from the way you do. Do we co-exist with nature or is it completely separate from us? Is "nature" simply an idea or is it made up of tangible objects? Where do we want the real "nature" to be? Where do we hold it? Clouds are chosen to represent our ideas of nature; our natures. Ideas are constantly changing, and can be abstract or simple. Pedestals represent the place in which we hold nature. Some of us hold it closer, while others at a distance. It may bring comfort to some of us, as we might choose to co-exist with it. A ladder represents both our access to nature and whether we take advantage of it. Nature is always among us, always in reach. How often we choose to use our ladders speaks to the closeness in which we prefer nature to stand with us. What is your nature and where do you hold it?
