The painting I based my models off of is called Snowshoe by Landon Mackenzie. Throughout IRD101 I explored the use of balance in the painting through the use of line, shape, and space. These helped me build and grow my models and better understand my assigned painting as I progressed through the assignments. Through the projects we explored models from a 2D to a 3D level. As I continued to make my models I feel like they started to look more like physical spaces you can interact with. I also have learned how we need to make sure everything we make is balanced and how important it is to try and understand what we are creating at different levels.
